![]() ![]() He updated his review a few weeks later stating that Acer did finally update their driver software support to the most current version, but I was still concerned about this at the time of my purchase. There was another reviewer who purchased the Helios 300 as well, and in his review stated that once he got it, Acer did not have the current driver software update on their site for the GPU, so his GTX 1060 in it was useless at that time. ![]() I'll try to spare the more specific details on the specs on the laptop, as you can simply read those yourself on the main page here for the Helios 300, so I will move on to the concerns I had and what I think of the laptop so far now that I've had it for a few weeks and had plenty of time to run it through the mill. This was the only one that I found that still included the GTX 1060, and a 6gb one at that! No, it doesn't have the Aeroblade fans like some of the more expensive Predator line, and doesn't have a Thunderbolt port, but it does still have a USB-C 3.1, and the dual fans that it does have are still very good. Ultimately though, most all of the other ones I looked at for this price were making their compromise in the the form of the GPU, stepping them down to the GTX 1050ti instead of the 1060 to try and cut costs. All of the gaming laptops from all of these companies are great for this price range, and they all make their compromises in different areas of their laptops to reach that point. And I would hope that anyone looking for a gaming laptop in this price range would understand that companies are going to make compromises to reach that price range. and to be honest, all these companies had great gaming laptops to offer for around the Rs.1,00,000 price point I was looking for. I looked at all of the MSi, Asus, Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Sabre, etc. I had been looking around for a while at many different gaming laptops, planning to get one for sure, but was really on the fence about which one to get. I have not received any refunds from the surplus custom deduction (bought 60 days ago), customer care has asked me to keep patience and have assured me that I will get it (I will wait for like 10 days and will inquire then).įirst and first lemme tell you Warranty not applicable in India for items Sold and Shipped from USA or imported. Though the Indian variant at Flipkart seems like a better choice in terms of service, you may have better luck than me buying it from amazon global. Other than the panel, everything works like a charm, I like the performance and so I have increased the rating to 4 stars from 3. For now, I am just ignoring those defective pixels as they are not always visible and I mostly use this laptop for Oculus anyways. Update: Acer India told me that I am applicable for ITW, there is a certain formality that I am supposed to complete to avail this. ![]() Acer predator helios 300 amazon serial#In turn, I have contacted Acer India who is yet to respond, but I found that my serial is linked to Acer USA, not Acer India, so I doubt any warranty claims ![]() I have updated the rating because I received good customer care support on this product from Amazon (even though there was warranty conflict), I have also contacted Acer about my issue, Acer USA is willing to send me a new panel but I will need to pay for shipping and customs and I will need to send back my older panel as well. My screen has some malfunctioning pixels and I cannot send it back to the USA, sad buying I don't think I will get warranty or anything!! and just after the day I received it, its price fell 8000 rupees. Great config laptop, But I received a defective one, bought at Rs 106000. ![]()

![]() Chang, the creator of "glow", leaving the police station on the local news and mentions he has a feeling this might not be over quite yet. ![]() ![]() Cody's arthritis is now gone and he seems eager to resume fighting. Some time later, Kyle and Cody wake up in the hospital, where they meet with Vanessa whose brother was killed during the final battles she holds onto her late brother's badge in his memory. Bella utters his last words "I am your savior," before Kyle fires a fatal shot directly to the former's head, replying "You're nothing." Afterward he finds Cody unconscious from the fall. Bella regains consciousness from the fall and begins to reach for his handgun but is stopped by Kyle. It is later revealed that Bella is actually the younger brother of Belger, the antagonist of the original game, just before he and Kyle begin to fight.ĭuring the battle, Cody regains his senses, and throws himself and Bella off the roof landing in the courtyard. When Kyle finds Bella on the roof of his church, Cody is with him, mutated by a concentrated dose of glow. Kyle later discovers that glow is being made by a psychotic priest named Father Bella, who hopes to use the drug to bring about the apocalypse. Kyle later finds out that Cody is using a powerful strength-enhancing drug called "glow", which helps the arthritis in his knees. After Kyle arrives at the bar, he plays a game with his girlfriend and bar owner Vanessa Sims (whose brother is a member of the police department), while waiting for Cody. After the end of a fight one evening, Kyle and Cody decide to meet at the local bar to celebrate with some beers and a round of pool however, Cody has some unspoken business that delays his arrival for an hour. As Cody Travers' younger brother, Kyle is the star of the underground Metro City fight club, spending nights fighting various other fighters in order to earn enough quick cash to make ends meet. Kyle and Cody Travers are brothers who take part in the sport of underground fighting. Kyle will run into familiar faces, as well as new ones. In Streetwise, Kyle roams the streets of his hometown, doing detective work, on the search for his captured brother. Streetwise is set several years after Final Fight 3, and focuses on Kyle Travers (voiced by Trent Kaniuga), Cody's younger brother. Progress will resume at the last checkpoint rather than the character's last position. The game's save system can only be used once the player decides to quit the game. However, the game is over when the life bar is empty. Kyle, Cody, Guy and Haggar are all playable characters in arcade mode. It does not have upgradable movesets, counters or instinct abilities. The arcade mode is a no-frills 3D brawler for 1 or 2 players. An 'instinct' system allows you to counter opponents' attacks, as well as make your attacks more powerful. Players earn money through pit fights and side missions, upgrading Kyle's moveset by training in various gyms in Metro City while progressing through the game. The story mode, which is exclusively single player, has ten minigames, including cockroach stomping, arm-wrestling, slide puzzles, shooting contests and the classic car bash. ![]() Final Fight: Streetwise is a 3D beat 'em up game. ![]() ![]() ![]() Of course, this issue is compounded by the grossly inaccurate estimated output size. The only thing I found that works is to radically reduce the frame size, but then I have a much smaller video in which the slides cannot be read, and the file size is still 2-3 times the original size. There must be some way to get PP to output roughly the same file size as my original files? I now use other software to trim my videos and save without re-encoding, but this doesn't help if I have to make a small edit. I've been battling this issue for a couple of years and really haven't found a suitable resolution. When I have a folder with multiple sessions and most of them are under 100 megs then I have a file that is 750 megs and all I did was blur out a single word on a slide, or add a quick title, or in some cases, I just trimmed a little off the front without making any changes or additions. Obviously, the output file size is just not acceptable. Now, if it's just about bitrate, explain why this is the case when I choose the lowest possible bitrate setting (0.19) and the lowest frame rate (10). Handbrake fast recompress pro#The audio quality is clear enough for the purpose.īut, if I do ANY kind of edit in premiere pro and try to output again, I typically get a file of 900 megs down to as low as 750 megs. Certainly not suitable for a movie, but for a webinar with slides, it's very reasonable: the frame size is nice and large, and you can read the text on the slides just fine. They are about an hour long 2650x1440 frames witih reasonable quality and the files are about 70-90 megs when I get them. This can be done with Handbrake or FFmpeg, it can be a lossless encode, however takes more time to decode and encode on a slow CPU, sometimes causing frame drops while viewing. ![]() I regularly have to edit webinar recordings from Zoom webinar. Without affecting quality, and presuming your CPU and GPU are fast enough, utilizing the x265 / HVEC encoding library may be the best option. I've seen this suggestion in many places, but you know, it doesn't really resolve the issue. ![]() |
